Andrew allegedly behaved inappropriately towards a woman at Royal Ascot in 2002
King Charles has refused to meet his disgraced brother former Duke of York Andrew during his visit to Sandringham on the Bank Holiday Weekend.
According to reports, the monarch arrived at Wood Farm Cottage on Sunday, a short distance from Andrew.
It is the same property where Andrew was temporarily housed after his exit from Royal Lodge in Windsor.
However, Andrew is now at the five-bedroom farmhouse, Marsh Farm.
According to a report by the Radar Online, despite Andrew, currently residing in nearby Marsh Farm – which is just a 14-minute drive away – the monarch refused to meet the former Duke of York.
King Charles fresh snub came days after officers investigating Andrew reportedly looking into an allegation that he behaved inappropriately towards a woman at Royal Ascot in 2002.
Moreover, UK police investigating Andrew said Friday they are also open to probing a claim of misconduct against King Charles brother.
Detectives at Thames Valley Police said Friday they had been in touch with the lawyer of a potential victim following reports a woman was brought to Windsor where Andrew was a resident on the royal family’s estate, in 2010.
The force is reportedly concerned that the public believes they are only focused on accusations of misconduct in public office by Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
They have been probing allegations that Andrew shared sensitive information with the disgraced financier Epstein during the former prince´s decade as UK trade envoy.
The force said their investigation was “examining a number of aspects of alleged misconduct following the release of files under the Epstein Files Transparency Act in the United States”.
