This is crazy! Why did Reynolds and Lively want to do this? They were already highly successful, they didn't need to steal a movie property from someone else. It was never going to be a blockbuster or improve their standing in Hollywood and how were they going to tell people that it was their movie? I would love to see Baldoni make a movie about this! I wonder who he could get to play Reynolds – clearly a rat-like weasely actor would be needed. It would certainly be a meaty role.
Any future projects Ryan or Blake touches, I'm going to assume they stole it. They have a history of doing it. They're not suddenly going to stop. They just happen to get caught this time.

And he, along with Blake Lively, deliberately used a MeToo law to target someone – a long term, dedicated, advocate against abuse? Even employing the timing of the new law as part of their plan?
No way the motivation of this is just to "take over a movie". He either felt jealousy, as some have said, from his wife's reaction to the realness of her costar – or they are both so fundamentally threatened by any attack on abuse, that they are compelled to uproot it.
