Comedian Laura Clery Says She Was Crushed By 600-Pound Fridge | E! News

Laura Clery is on the mend. The comedian shared that she is recovering after a 600-pound refrigerator fell on her while she was home with her and ex-husband Stephen Hilton’s kids Alfie, 7, and Poppy, 5. “The most terrifying night of my life as a single mom,” Laura captioned her March 21 Instagram post. “I was home alone getting ready for bed when my 600-pound fridge slammed into me and pinned me against the counter. I couldn’t move. Couldn’t breathe right. Was impossible to get off.” She continued, “I could feel myself losing consciousness. I genuinely didn’t know if I was getting out of that alive. Thank God my phone was in my pocket and I was able to call 911. Thank god it didn’t fall on my kids.
