Queen Latifah hosting the AMAs tonight with her wife Eboni and their son Rebel by her side.

She really broke barriers for women in entertainment. She became the first female rapper nominated for an Oscar, one of the first women in hip hop to successfully cross over into major Hollywood films and television, and one of the first female rappers to build a long-term mainstream career outside of music.

Eboni Nichols is a professional choreographer, dancer, and producer. She started as a cheerleader/dancer for the Los Angeles Lakers and later moved into choreography for TV, film, and live award shows.

Just saw her interview (with Angie Martinez, I believe it was) and her perspective on fame, privacy, and authenticity is awe-inspiring. Definitely at the top of the list of celebrities who handle being famous extremely well.

Queen Latifah seems like one of those people that is a truly incredible person. Not to mention she is immensely talented! She can do no wrong in my eyes.

    8. I saw an interview where she said she came out in 2021 because she was getting a lifetime achievement award and she wanted to celebrate with the people who made her life special.

They’re a beautiful family and I hope they have a happy life.

She is my red carpet favorite. This is a woman who just knows what works for her and always looks like herself. Such a beauty.

I loved her when I was young and bought her autobiography when I was 16. She went on and on throughout the entire book about how she’s not gay and everyone typecast her as gay because of Set it Off. Seems like alot has changed.
