KISS has already been on American Idol… so has Judas Priest… did not watch the Motley Crue one… I did see Carrie Underwood in concert once (free tickets) and she covered Aerosmith's "Sweet Emotion"…
I was obsessed with Motley for a few years as a teenager- got to see them on the Greatest Hits 98 tour.
That being said, they should've hung it up 10-15 years ago.

Carrie Underwood is a hair metal fan but also 90s metal like Korn. She needs to do a rock album , who knows what might happen sales wise.
Motley is an easy pass for me. I've seen them in their prime many times, I'd much prefer remember them at their best. Same reason I refused to go see my favorite band,KISS, when they played here (Montreal) for the final time.
