Paris Jackson Says Bond With Dad Michael Jackson Is “No One’s Business” | E! News

Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris Jackson has a message for her critics. The “Let Down” singer—who was 11 years old when the King of Pop died in 2009—shared that she no longer feels pressure to tell the world about the connection she had with her dad. In the past, Paris admitted she felt an expectation to publicly commemorate Michael—also dad to Prince, 29, and Bigi “Blanket,” 24—on his birthday, death day and Father’s Day. “I’m now learning I can have my own personal relationship and I’m allowed to be private about it,” Paris said on the May 26 episode of the ‘Trying Not to Die’ podcast. “I’m now like, my relationship is the most beautiful relationship ever.” The 28-year-old added of her mindset shift, “I’m in a very beautiful spot with my dad and I love that and it’s no one’s business and I don’t have to share that with anybody.
