I needed to hear this so much more when I was younger. I hope she and others keep spreading the good word and our beautiful, strong, young women can truly love their bodies and always feel worthy no matter their size or shape.

I’m on my period and this is gonna make me cry lol
I’ve gained some weight in the last year since dumping my wack ass ex, and while it has made me insecure, it has also reminded me that I’m not broke anymore so I can buy the food I want to eat. It’s a reminder that I’m happy and stress free so my body is no longer in survival mode. I’m now able to go out with my friends and enjoy myself and get drinks, ice cream, coffee – whatever I want. I gained weight but I also gained my freedom and I’m still hot so it’s okay!

I always remind myself of this when I go to my parents house and my mom has my favourites made. Literally who the fuck cares about the diet, there’s only so long I’ll be lucky enough to eat my mom’s home made cooking, laughing with my sisters, and watching TV or a movie as a family.

Its strange that people hold themselves to such a high standard that they don’t enjoy life. Its also social pressures, the RNC want us to work our asses off in hopes to have a better future but never think about quality of life for all people.
