General Hospital’s Kate Mansi Confirms Exit From Show | E! News

Kate Mansi announced she is saying goodbye to ‘General Hospital’ after three “unforgettable” years as Kristina Corinthos-Davis. The actress confirmed her departure in SoapSteph’s Soap Dish newsletter May 24, revealing that her husband Matt McInnis’ overseas production schedule led to her difficult decision to step away from the fictional city of Port Charles to allow for travel flexibility. While Kate’s final episode is set to air in June, it’s still unclear whether the character of Kristina will exit the show or be recast once again.
