Coronation Street star Sam Aston is set to welcome his fourth child with wife Briony after the couple shared the adorable update on their social media.
The actor is famed for playing Chesney Brown in the ITV soap. Sam was only 10-years-old when he was cast in the ITV soap as the son of Cilla Battersby-Brown and the half-brother of Fiz Stape.
Viewers have watched Chesney grow up on screen, with it now being well over 20 years since his first appearance on the cobbles, fans have followed his journey on the Weatherfield cobbles as well as his personal life.

In some exciting news for the family of five, Briony and Sam took to Instagram as they shared a sweet video announcing that baby number four is on the way.
Their children are being pulled along the floor by Sam, and Hazel was seen beaming and holding onto an ultrasound scan picture of her soon-to-be baby sibling. The couple wrote: “Here we go again… baby Aston #4,” followed by a Christmas tree emoji perhaps teasing the due date.
Sam’s Corrie co-stars were quick to congratulate them, as Alan Halsall took to his story after a round of golf with Sam and penned: “Not a great round for me today but… some Great news from this guy baby #4. On the way Congratulations @samaston93 @briony_aston”.
Sally Ann Matthews wrote: “I was literally thinking about you yesterday and whether you’d have any more! Congratulations to you all!!!!!” and soap expert Sharon Marshall added: “Fantastic news”.

Sam is married to yoga teacher and birth doula, Briony. The pair said ‘I do’ in a stunning Cheshire ceremony in May 2019. The romantic nuptials were held on Stock Farm just on the edge of Tatton Park and Sam said he was ‘the luckiest man alive’.
Sam took to one knee and proposed in the summer of 2017 in front of over 250 people at the annual charity golf dinner that he hosts with co-stars Alan and Andy Whyment at the Worsley Park Marriott Hotel in Salford.
After tying the knot, the couple have gone on to welcome three children. Sam’s son, Sonny James, arrived six weeks early on August 11, 2020, just over a year after the couple married, while daughter Daisy Josephine arrived in May 2022.
Briony and Sam went on to endure two tragic miscarriages within four months of each other. Briony previously explained that their sad loss of one of their babies was the result of ‘Vanishing Twin Syndrome’, a condition in which one of the babies stops growing and the mother’s body then absorbs the embryo and tissue.
It was then in 2024 that Sam and Briony revealed they were loving parents to another baby girl. “Welcome to the world…Hazel Marie Aston. 07.05.24 8lbs 15oz,” they wrote alongside pictures from Hazel’s arrival.
