Do you love memoirs? How about celebrity memoirs? Get a sneak peek at Celebrity Autobiography on Broadway with a brand-new trailer. The show features an ever-changing cast of celebrity notables reading excerpts from real autobiographies. In the video above, see Rita Wilson channel Elizabeth Taylor, Keenan Thompson channel Justin Bieber, Mario Cantone’s Liza Minnelli impression, Jeff Hiller play Cher, Andrea Martin as Ethel Merman, Gayle King as Beyoncé, and more.

    The production officially opened at the Shubert Theatre May 18, with the opening night cast featuring Scott Adsit (30 Rock), Matthew Broderick (Plaza Suite), Mario Cantone (Sex and the City), Jeff Hiller (Somebody Somewhere), Jackie Hoffman (Only Murders in the Building), Christopher Jackson (Hamilton), Gayle King (CBS Mornings), Ben Mankiewicz (Turner Classic Movies), Andrea Martin (McNeal), Bobby Moynihan (SNL), Eugene Pack, Dayle Reyfel, Kenan Thompson (SNL), Nia Vardalos (My Big Fat Greek Wedding), and Rita Wilson (Sleepless in Seattle). Wilson is also producing the run.

    Each night’s cast and material will be different, with press notes sharing that audiences can expect unannounced special guests throughout the run. Slated to appear during the run are Paula Abdul, Brooke Adams, Pamela Adlon, Jason Alexander, Anthony Anderson, Lewis Black, Christie Brinkley, Danny Burstein, Bob Costas, Katie Couric, Tate Donovan, Chloe Fineman, Will Forte, Gina Gershon, Kathy Griffin, Ken Jeong, Leslie Rodriguez Kritzer, Stewart Lane, Susan Lucci, Ralph Macchio, Donna McKechnie, Eric McCormack, Laraine Newman, Oscar Nuñez, Cheri Oteri, Tiler Peck, Billy Porter, Phil Rosenthall, Tony Shalhoub, Sherri Shepherd, Molly Shannon, Kenan Thompson, Jennifer Tilly, Nia Vardalos, Bruce Vilanch, and Alan Zweibel.     Celebrity Autobiography, created by Eugene Pack and co-developed with Dayle Reyfel, is coming to the Main Stem after several hit runs internationally, including an Off-Broadway run that won the 2009 Drama Desk for Unique Theatrical Experience and other bows in London’s West End, Sydney Opera House, and more. Pack and Reyfel are at the helm of the Broadway bow.

    The staging features scenic and costume design by Derek McLane, lighting design by Ed McCarthy, and sound design by Palmer Hefferan. The Broadway run is produced by Wilson, Eric Falkenstein, Douglas Denoff, Fraboni, Peter Martin, and EP Productions. Foundation Theatrical’s Erich Jungwirth is general managing, and James FitzSimmons serves as production stage manager.
