Leicester City legend Jamie Vardy’s new life in Italy with his wife Rebekah and their children is the focus of a brand new ITV documentary series launching tonight (June 2).
The Vardys is a three-part reality show following the well-known family at a defining moment as they embark on the enormous challenge of uprooting their lives to Italy, following Jamie’s transfer to Serie A outfit Cremonese — a move that came after a remarkable 13-year stint at Leicester City.
The transition was anything but straightforward, with the series promising “frantic house-hunts, tearful school searches, unexpected disasters and dramatic setbacks, all while Jamie battles to prove his doubters wrong on the pitch.”
The show will also tackle the infamous Wagatha Christie trial head-on, examining its lasting impact on the family after Rebekah became embroiled in a high-profile legal dispute with fellow footballer’s wife Coleen Rooney.

ITV’s synopsis teases: “Witness the banter, the bickering and the sheer unpredictability of the Vardys as they navigate cultural clashes, forge new friendships, and make Italy their home.
“Can Jamie rekindle his underdog magic? Will Rebekah find peace and a new purpose away from the glare of the British tabloids? And will the Vardy family finally find their happily ever after?”
The series begins at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with the second episode airing at the same time tomorrow (June 3), and the third and final instalment broadcasting on Thursday (June 4), reports OK!
Viewers tuning in may be curious about the footballer’s current net worth, particularly as the series follows closely after a Netflix documentary about the athlete called Untold UK: Jamie Vardy.
