Taylor Swift’s $2 Billion Net Worth Explained | E! News
Taylor Swift is in her iconoclast era. Less than two years after the “Champagne Problems” singer’s estimated net worth was revealed to be $1.6 billion, Taylor’s net worth jumped once again to a whopping $2 billion, according to Forbes. Per the business magazine’s “Iconoclast 50” list, published June 3, the Grammy winner’s net worth doubled since she first became a billionaire in 2023, due to her record-breaking 2023-2024 Eras Tour and sales of multiple re-recorded albums. In addition, Taylor, 36, has also released two new albums ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ and ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ in 2024 and 2025, respectively. And not only that: She also bought back the rights to her first six albums last year. The “Opalite” singer’s financial value is made up of almost $800 million earned from royalties and touring, a music catalog that is estimated to be worth $600 million and $110 million in real estate, per Forbes. And that’s AFTER buying back her Masters!✨
This is one amazing WOMAN!
The commies won't like this.
Yeah, she scammed her stupid fans by releasing obnoxious numbers of the same album, cheap merch, and pretend she is all her fans' best pal. It's called brilliant pr and marketing. She has all this money and she still whines about guys who broke uo with her and petty to other artists.
❤️❤️❤️
taylor's minions are the worst, just as mean bullies as taylor is👹
Forbes's valuation methodology is extremely flawed.
Forbes lumps everything together: real income, passive assets, illiquid real estate, etc.
At the same time, it forgets to mention the costs of operating companies, tax deductions, and current expenses.
For example, it estimates the back catalog at $600 million and then $900 million.
Clearly, both of these figures are plucked out of thin air, as the likelihood of selling the back catalog now or in the foreseeable future is close to zero.
Forbes's estimates are populist in nature.
Forbes' estimates mislead consumers and serve as a source of negative speculation about individuals on the so-called Forbes billionaires list.
