Her memoir Daughter of Empire is so interesting, I really recommend it. I haven’t read her second one but this reminds me it’s on my list. What a life she had, she experienced some terrible things but some amazing ones too.

Was she the third longest-lived descendant of Queen Victoria (after Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh and Princess Alice, Countess of Athlone)?
She has the same look as the rest of the royal family. I would have definitely pegged her as one of them.
