The Princess of Wales joined in a hospital cancer ward celebration for a young mum who completed chemotherapy.
I really hate all this gushy emotional stuff the Cambridges are doing now. I’d rather they got on with quiet graft rather than trying to trying to manipulate emotions with terminal cancer teens and bereaved parents. It’s trashy tabloid stuff and I know it’s going to backfire on them.
It was very touching to be able to share with this couple as they celebrated being in remission. I’m sure Catherine was very deeply moved, as anyone who has had cancer knows, this is a moment you remember forever. It’s great that they are doing more of these engagements and bringing attention to both the patients and the staff. Cancer is a tough journey for everyone, no matter who you are.
