The upcoming strategy title Star Wars Zero Company has just been showcased at Summer Game Fest, with a new trailer and confirmation that the game will release on August 27, 2026. In addition, recent reporting suggests that the game will feature content not just from the Clone Wars, but during the time of the rise of the Galactic Empire.

Without further ado, the new teaser can be seen below:

Bit Reactor also confirmed the release date is August 27:

But that’s not all. Not that long ago, as reported by Bespin Bulletin, multiple international ratings boards assigned a rating for the upcoming Zero Company. The Brazillian Advisory Rating classified the game as being 14+ and “not recommended for children under 14 years of age”, the Australian Classification classified it as being rated M for “mature themes and violence”, the South Korea Media Rating Board rated it 15+ for realistic depictions of violence, weapons, and explosions, along with vulgar language.

All of these are roughly the equivalent of the ESRB’s T for Teen rating, which recommends that players be 13 or over to play – so, in other words, nothing new for the galaxy far, far away in terms of video games. Hidden amongst the details of the ratings is a new tidbit claiming that the story of Zero Company “spans from the Clone Wars era into the early Galactic Empire”, which indicates that the story potentially covers events like Order 66.

Star Wars: Zero Company will release on August 27, 2026, and is now available for preorder. The game is developed by Bit Reactor, Lucasfilm Games, Electronic Arts, and Respawn Entertainment. It has also been reported and now confirmed that the standard edition of Zero Company will cost $49.99 on PC and $59.99 on Xbox Series X/S and Sony PlayStation 5. The deluxe edition is priced at $59.99 on PC and $69.99 on consoles.

All players who preorder will have access to the Crystalline Astromech Cosmetic Pack, which includes an R3 droid, translucent “crystalline” astromech heads for the R4 and R5 droid variants, and the BR-1 droid that originates from the game. Deluxe edition exclusives include two additional unique cosmetic packs, five painted weapon themes inspired by the Clone Wars era, and the cosmetic pack mentioned above. Gamers who purchase the standard edition will be able to upgrade later.

In addition to all of this, the game’s soundtrack will be released alongside the game itself, featuring an original score from composer Gordy Haab. Haab previously won a Grammy for his work on Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
