They wrote themselves into a corner not only he has all that abilities Frenchie told him they already recreated Soujia boys trick and no matter how arrogant you guys wanna called Homelander he just got immortality he would be extra worried to lose it at any cost he had people that can read minds and shape shifters at his disposal the boys weren’t supposed to succeed they should of just let him win in the series finale and milk a two part movie with a good budget afterwards in my opinion with no girl boss ending and no power taking away a good old endgame supes vs civilians with the virus and they weaponize it into bullets and what not then make a overdosed V butcher fight Homelander to a stalemate being Homelander would either taking both their lives or trapping him in the room he feared so much with no way out ever and it would hurt even more cause all that immortality he won’t die being trapped and forgotten the end

S5 homelander had V1 and he was just a baby the whole time
