    1. Doing groceries and cooking in two different days is such great advice, I found out about it recently, and indeed if you don’t do it you end up exhausted and not enjoying the process at all!!

    2. I do the exact same thing and am the one to host large family gatherings the last several years. The only difference is I don’t find myself with nothing to do or relaxed at all the day off trying to have everything hot and ready to go at serving time. 😭 I’m still stressed out and kick myself for making so many sides and desserts. 😂 I tell myself I don’t need that many sides next time but I don’t learn… rinse and repeat for the next holiday. 😅

    3. In this clip she reminds me a lot of Helena Bonham Carter. Also: same, definitely a do-the-prep beforehand to make the day-of easier.

    4. Sounds like me. I plan first, then make as many things ahead as I can. Usually, all I am doing day off is cooking the meat, maybe making a dressing for salad, and warming up all the pre made dishes.

    5. I've never cooked a goose. I wouldn't even know where to find a goose to cook. I guess things are different here in the US. If I need a large bird to cook, like for Thanksgiving or Christmas, I buy a turkey.
There are plenty of annoying wild Canada geese around where I live but I don't think people are even allowed to hunt them.
