Sister Sledge, Madness and Razorlight are among the performers at day two of Summer Fest at the Beach.

The two day festival on Weston-super-Mare beach has attracted about 35,000 visitors over the weekend, despite adverse weather on Saturday.

Conditions have been better on Sunday, after some artists performed shorter sets on day one, and Sophie Ellis-Bextor did not perform because of the windy and rainy conditions.

Festival Director Ian Rodgers said: “We had to adapt and make some changes to the site. At certain points if the wind got high we had to lower the sides of the stage and there was one point when we made the decision to manoeuvre people out of the VIP tent.”
