An acclaimed Andrew Scott drama written and directed by Andrew Haigh is now available to stream in the UK. Released in 2023, All of Us Strangers is a loose adaptation of Taichi Yamada’s 1987 novel Strangers and also stars Paul Mescal, Claire Foy and Jamie Bell.

The film follows a lonely television screenwriter, Adam (Scott), who begins a relationship with a neighbour, played by Mescal. Meanwhile, Adam frequently visits his childhood home, now empty, where he sees the ghosts of his parents as they were at the time they died in a car crash when he was 12.

The sweet meetings with the ghosts of his mum and dad, portrayed by Foy and Bell, give Adam the chance to reconcile with them, but a heartbreaking twist awaits.
