      We should all be more okay with all bodies and their weight. It’s hard to think of anything we obsess about more than size.

      She’s right. Body positivity means that supporting people of all sizes. I’m a big girl, but seeing the comments skinny girls get is awful. Shaming is not appropriate no matter what size someone is.

      It must have been hugely damaging to the self-esteem of ***all*** the girls hearing the guys in the house refer to beautiful women as “grenades”.

      I know I couldn’t handle the commentary that comes with being in the public eye. She’s right that women can’t win no matter the body type

      Honestly talking about someone’s weight does more harm than good. I see people say “well I just want to bring awareness to body positivity, etc” and it’s mainly used as a facade to criticize women and pick them apart. There’s healthier ways to talk about body dysmorphia, eating disorders, etc.

      I am so tired of this discourse. Yes she’s right. At the same time, we need to call out what we’re seeing in the media. Does that mean we need to shame individual people? Of course not! But the trend is very damaging and we have be to be able to talk about it.

      I find it really interesting how this comment section is so different compared to what it would be if it was a post for a certain artist who is currently on tour.

      Selective empathy being extended to celebrities whose bodies are being commented on is so fucking icky.
