Shakira opened the World Cup 2026 in Mexico with her new song (made for the cup) which is called Dai Dai, alongside Burna Boy. I personally like it a lot it felt like a breath of fresh air! She looked great and the songs has that timeless vibe, similarly to her previous efforts. Loved the coreo, so many stars don’t do coreo anymore. What do you think?

I like the song but hated the music video. My daughter loves both, so it will be on replay all summer long.
Also, as someone who loves soccer and one of her favorite times every 4 years is the World Cup, I have 0 excitement for this one. As a Colombian seeing 2 artist in the opening number got me a bit more excited.

Waka Waka was catchier but still, slay
Shakira and every background dancer’s faces looked like avatars or some AI bullshit. They looked weird as hell and distracted me from even paying attention to the performance.
