Tim Allen says there’s a wrench in the ‘Home Improvement’ reboot. After all, Tim Allen revealed that any possible revival of his ‘90s sitcom—on which he starred alongside Patricia Richardson, Jonathan Taylor Thomas, Taran Noah Smith, Zachery Ty Bryan and Richard Karn—is paused indefinitely. “They keep talking about how it could move forward, but they get stuck [because] there are some personality problems right now with the boys,” Allen told Us Weekly in an interview published June 10. “They’ve got their own issues.” The 72-year-old added, “I always thought it would be cool if it was a story about them. That’s a little challenging right now, to put it mildly.” Tim Allen recently chatted with E! Whoa– there's a Toy Story 5??
Those boys are men trying to navigate living their lives. It's natural they'd want to do something different for themselves. They were young young in this business

It's hard to reboot a series with the 3 sons are the mwin characters that 2 of them don't want to be famous so its not personality problem is personal choices.

It's hard to do a reboot when they are now all adults. It wouldn't be called Home Improvement anymore. Take it from Fuller House. Besides each of them have been in trouble with the law especially Zach who's in prison. Also there's no Wilson and it seems no Al as well. Not going to work Tim. Stick with your current show.
Enough with the reboots. You're all old now. It's not the '90s anymore. Those shows were a product of their time.

Good. I don't want a reboot with an incomplete cast. All the reason I ignored Just Like That and That 90's Show.
Good show but sometimes things need left in the past .it isn't even the same world anymore
