I love football more than pretty much anything. This is the first time I have seen consequences like this happen to any of these players for seemingly treating women like shit. Really happy about this, maybe next Arsenal could’ve not have him play for them for years after this was public knowledge because fuck standing for something we need to win games…

It’s so satisfying when there are some consequences for once.
Reminds me of one my countries beach volleyballers who was convicted of rape of a minor but it didn’t set back his career in the country one bit (he even went to the olympics). Recently though, some of the big tournaments have been in countries who do not play about rape and he keeps getting denied for visa’s.
I hope it gives victims a tiny bit of encouragement that not everyone will just allow their rapist to live as if nothing has happend. Even though it’s not enough.
