Ariana Grande & The Brighter Days Ahead Foundation used the song “bye” in a post regarding emergency support funds for immigrant families, same song the White House used in their ICE TikTok.

    1. I love this. For everyone who dv my opinion and thought I was somehow hating on her specifically yesterday this is a great example of a comeback/positive attention to *her* cause/beliefs (well basic fkn human rights in general) vs adding more attention to their dumb ass hateful ones. Since I’ve never seen them pull any posts/videos when celebs publicly call them out doing stuff like this and then going whatever legal route artists can seems more productive against the cult bc they’re not normal and thrive on the call outs on the posts.

    2. Ari please make this important stuff readable. Not light text on light backgrounds 🧡

    3. This is huge! The government has made the immigration process impossible. Not only are they detaining and trafficking immigrants, they have made the asylum, appeals process harder.

Immigration judges are not like your ordinary judges, they are an arm of the executive branch. Some describe immigration hearings as “a traffic court hearing with death penalty stakes”. Because immigration courts vary drastically depending on the state they are in or the judges overseeing the case and since they are beholden to the executive branch, they are incentivized to follow the presidents orders. One big difference between this administration and the Biden administration is that although the Biden administration had a more humane philosophy on immigration, they did not impose their agenda on the courts, at least compared to the Trump administration.

All this to say, most of the immigrants detained end up appealing the immigration judges decisions. The fee to file an appeal has gone up 718% thanks to the Big Beauriful Bill (from $100 to $900). Funds like these are essential to keep fighting for the immigrant community and those wrongfully detained.
