Jheni made the skirt that Shakira wore for a promo video for the world cup. Later on, she was asked by her team to sell it to them and said it would be used for a future appearance or an exhibition.
A week later a designer from Off White starts to follow her on instagram. During the opening ceremony her mother asked her if she had worked with Shakira and she was getting enquires from journalist to credit her.
Shes then realized that the address she shipped the original skirt to is the address of the off-white designer that had followed her and where Shakiras opening look was made.
Last two pics is a skirt she also made that is more similar to the look Shakira wore.

Just noticed the typo…
I believe her. Reminds me of the Met Gala issue this year where another woman had her designs stolen. Beautiful clothing so yup never buying from OffWhite or aka TypicalWhitie

this happens so often.
i know everyone is a saint after they die and a lot of people loved him, but virgil abloh did something similar many years ago and blocked me on instagram for calling him out. (to be clear, he did not steal designs from me, he stole design from fashion students) he founded this brand so it tracks.
I’d be embarrased to claim that design, it’s hideous and tacky and makes me question Shakira’s taste
Why is everyone blaming Shakira? If there’s a problem, it’s Off-White that’s responsible, not her. Do people honestly believe artists and performers keep track of every clothing design being created worldwide?

Off topic but what on earth did off white do to the body they used for imagining the outfit for shakira…it looks like barbie the way it looks way too thin to be a real woman everywhere and not even her actual body type even exaggerated
