I could have sworn soon after his son was murdered he was publicly stating he didn’t want his son’s murder to be turned into fodder for white supremacists/alt-right conservatives looking to sew more division amongst people… it’s really sad to see this.

This was disappointing to see considering the fact that when his son was killed he initially stood up against white supremacists using Austin’s name to boost their causes, and speaking out against hate the case was creating. I admired that and it may not’ve helped but it’s important coming from the parents..
I get his emotions are heightened but Jesus dude. He’s supposedly a Christian too. Totally letting his hate and anger cloud him. Hope he realizes this is wrong cause damn. Logic is off and everything ALSO there have been black people actually standing beside him this whole time like remember when he was on that phone call with the white supremacist at the rally? Also, I guarantee that he is getting some government benefit. Assholes going on about government handouts are always somehow benefitting from them (which is their right as a citizen, a right of theirs which I and other leftists defend). It’s a bizarre thing I’ve noticed.
Lastly, he admits he’s socially isolated and cooped up. This is true of so many hateful people. It’s a cycle.
