An AI-powered appeals court backed by Peter Thiel? Sounds like another nightmare foisted on the public by the elite to keep people they don’t like in line. 🫠

What are the odds that counsel weighed in and told management *’publish an AI-generated accusation – for a fee! – that a journalist is lying, and you’re opening us up to a libel suit’*?

It sounds like a new version of the BBB. But possibly even less reliable.

Oh and with added “AI” marketing gimmicks.

Sounds like an attempt to waste the resources of the court.

I’m sure all the judges involved will love having their time wasted.

    5. Oh – this is actually rather terrifying as Peter Thiel weaponizes lawsuits to destroy media outlets that print negative stories about him.

In 2007, Gawker was an influential gossip website that outed Thiel as gay which outraged him. Thiel was later secretly funded Hulk Hogan’s lawsuit against Gawker – effectively shutting them down.

This fund looks like a strong warning to journalists to not publish anything negative about him or he will destroy you. Quite in line with this administration, but also a direct threat freedom of the press as well as our democracy.

    6. Is this the guy that was gifted the purchase of TikTok? I believe they know that most younger generations get their news from TikTok. I always say, the Republicans play the long game.

    7. A South African apartheid nepo-baby is trying to silence the American voice. Fuck these guys. Seriously. Just try and silence us all.

      Quote from the article:
In D’Souza’s interview with the Australian newspaper, he explained why: “It’s only the top 1 percent who matter. These are the people who are going to be the value creators…”

      Bitch, what?!

It’s a grift. Charge rich people, concoct fake judgements that mean nothing, and then charge them more to skew searches. Why would the “defendant “ ever agree to this?

“You can draw a direct line between Peter Thiel funding a lawsuit to shut down Gawker and Donald Trump suing all of these news outlets. Billionaires own The Washington Post, the L.A. Times and Twitter,” he adds. “We have allowed billionaires, many of whom are also right wing, to control the means by which information is conveyed to the populace. That is a very scary thing, and it has a direct connection to Peter Thiel and Gawker.”
