I love when ceilings are high enough that they can hang one painting over another.

    3. Perfect. My dream of a Pride, Prejudice & Zombies Adventure Park and Resort.

Come live your JA fantasy in historically accurate costume, food and balls, while a undead horde invades and crashes the party.

You and other don special “Laser Tag” tiaras, and jewellery, along with historical muskets and other weapons to destroy the zombie horde.

Can you survive the Zombie Ball, make it to the Stables and ride outta here.

I forget how crazy big those estates can get. I was looking at the photos going ‘that looks like a race course. Surely it doesn’t have a racecourse’….yes, yes it does.

    5. Mr Bingley could afford this with <assumes Mrs Bennet voice> “FIVE thousand a year.” So… what’s that in today’s money? About five million?

What I never see mentioned is that HS2 construction is basically right at the edge of this estate, I imagine this has factored into the decision to sell.

£45 million? The original guide price was £12 mill! We were laughing the in group chat that was only £120k each for a deposit if we got like 100 people to buy in. The dream is dead!

Taylor Swift should buy it to establish her married life and family there after the wedding

All right cats & kittens, THIS is how you mansion. Not lawyer foyers, not massive rooms with no cozy features, no all marble or gold plated everything, it’s just lots & lots of rooms with ceilings no higher than 10-12 feet, fireplaces in every room, beautiful built-ins made of real wood, this is how you mansion.
