She knows what her mother would have liked best 🤷‍♀️. It’s sort of odd to me.

What a good looking family though.

The clarity of that is crazy. Almost looks like a photoshop

Bless Mrs. Marian. RIP. My beloved grandma lived with us when I was a kid, so I loved seeing Mrs. Marian stand with her daughter, son-in-law, and grandbabies as America’s First Family.

“I notice it in the way I channel her when I’m giving advice to my daughters, or catching up with my brother Craig, or sitting down for dinner with Barack. **She’s not with us, but she is.”** this resonated a lot,

I understand that feeling of loss and having to reconcile it with feeling them there as the bearer of their genes. She states it much more power than I ever could

    4. This is absolutely gorgeous and touching. What a beautiful tribute to a beautiful woman.

    5. So beautiful. Her mom moved into the White House with them to help care for the girls during Barack and Michelle’s years as POTUs and FLOTUS. She and her brother Craig have always been very close. So heartwarming to see a close knit family. A beautiful tribute to her mama.

    6. She is the classiest First Lady of all time. Never once stooped down to spit on her detractors. Sometimes its not worth it to scrape the dogshit off your shoes when you are just as graceful barefooted.

I watched the video and seeing President Obama cry when he first saw the skirt made me cry. It’s really sad that his mother wasn’t alive to see his Presidency. I’m glad he had a 2nd mother there to share it with him and their family.
