What’s the theory? Did they damage the facade during removal, quit halfway through, or just not actually remove the letters at all?
It’s because the presidunce is a twat.
I’m guessing the marble is damaged and whether it’s residual adhesive or holes, you can still make out the defiling offense, and the tarps are to hide the damage while the necessary restoration is done.
Either that, or they’re leaving the mounts in place until they get another toady judge to allow the name to go back up.

Judge said remove name but nothing about keeping Kennedy hidden. That’s a separate lawsuit.
Also weak game, Trump can’t appears to simply obey a no name judge so they are making it a malicious compliance to show who is the boss. They did the removal after the deadline to taunt the judge and now dragging their feet to show they will do it as they please not as ordered.

Don’t underestimate the damage to the marble exterior by putting up the tRump name! Many hole for each letter. Taking them down isn’t something that is done frequently by the most experienced workers! It would disrespect JFK to rush the repairs just to please anybody.
