Will Ferrell has arrived! He made a special live appearance on WRAL News on Thursday morning.
Ferrell dropped by our studio in character as Lonnie “The Hawk” Hawkins to promote his new Netflix comedy series, “The Hawk.” He’ll be stopping by Pinehurst later this morning for a news conference.

The show lands on Netflix on July 16 and is the star’s first television comedy.
In his new series, Ferrell is joined by fellow Saturday Night Live classmate Molly Shannon, Luke Wilson, Jimmy Tatro, Fortune Feimster and other big names in comedy.
The series follows Lonnie “The Hawk” Hawkins, 2004’s top golfer, as he struggles on the back nine of his career with dreams of making “the greatest comeback in golf history” with a major win to complete golf’s Grand Slam.
