    1. Everyone else is always terrible when these whiney hateful billionaire losers fail. They never take credit for their own failures.

Do they even work? How are they always doing interviews and at hollywood events and actually run their businesses day to day? These guys are all scammers and creeps.

    2. I’d like to know what insidious agenda he was pushing that they didn’t listen to

Wow it’s almost like journalism is supposed to be largely bias-free and people who work for you might have an issue with being told to publish news that pushes your agenda. Who would have thought?

Why is it always the worst people who are billionaires? (I know it’s because they’re unethical losers)

Didn’t realize the staff actually pushed back. I dropped them but I may review to support the brave journalist at the WP.

“The paper, that pedals my propaganda is failing because people know that it’s my propaganda. What a poor investment” -Bezos

      I don’t believe him.

He wouldn’t have hired Will Lewis, formerly a Murdoch employee at News of the World in the UK, if he intended to run a serious newspaper and not turn the WaPo into a right wing propaganda machine.

Plus he was warned not to hire Lewis, and just went ahead anyway. He knew what he was doing.

This complaint reminds me of the billionaire that said he prefers Trump because Trump doesn’t ignore you when you get caught up in a scandal after donating to him, like Biden did lol

    10. And this is exactly why billionaires should not buy or own media news companies. Their job is to report on the news, not listen to what you have to say

I wish I had stupid amounts of money to simply fund journalism and investigative reporting.

Unbiased truth telling should have been enshrined in our Constitution. A national public entity unmolested by the politicians and the wealthy should have been a codified fourth pillar of our government.

corporate oligarchy offended by idea that he can mostly but not entirely compromise freedom of the press

    13. A newspaper isn’t an online retailer. To journalists, he’s just another asshole oligarch with a new toy.

I’m gonna say something that might piss off some people; the left needs more capital. They need to play the game in order to change the system. Otherwise, guys like Besos can just keep buying up mass media to shift things to fit their narrative.

I don’t buy this popular uprising shit because for people to attain class consciousness, they need to be exposed more to left-leaning ideas.

    15. They also don’t listen, they fear him and they know why…

You bought a formerly respectable paper full of established journalists and were mad when some of them didn’t immediately bend to fascist demands.

    17. News like this makes me proud I stopped buying from Amazon. It wasn’t as hard as I worried it would be.

    18. When an old white man says someone “doesn’t listen”, it just means they don’t bend to the old white man’s will.

    19. Expecting a tech billionaire to have any competency whatsoever in leading journalists is almost as bad as expecting a failed buisnessman to have any competency whatsoever in leading a countr- oh
