John Cena finds out he is the same age as Jason Earles (Jackson in ‘Hannah Montana’) who he had scenes with

It’s so funny how it says “in this picture” as if they are only the same age in that photo and not all the time in reality.

Man, after knowing the background negotiations, storyboarding and maybe rehearsal that happens on talk shows and the celebrities’ teams, these “spontaneous” segments kinda fall flat now.

He’s a grown man just like you are 😂 

Not just the same age, John is three days older than Jason.

Never thought I’d appreciate a purple suit this much. But here we are.

Pity Jimmy didn’t look up Conor McGregor on the internet before he interviewed him 🤷🏻‍♀️

I was too old for Hannah Montana, so I didn’t know who Jason Earles was until recently, seeing him being interviewed and thinking “This guy looks middle aged. Who would have he played on that show back then?” and being surprised he not only played a teen at 30 because his condition made him look way younger, but that he was on a bunch of other Disney Channel stuff then, which had to be weird when he’s playing a teen and doing scenes with actual teens, but keeping boundaries as an adult since he’s not their peer.

Vaguely irritated by the way Fallon didn’t just give him one more easily googleable fact ie. Earles’ date of birth.

Three days after John Cena was born.

Tbf Fallon kind of just irritates me anyway.

I think people exaggerate how young Jason looks. It’s mostly just the hairstyle he had at the time. Or maybe people assumed he’s a kid because he’s so short, idk. I remember watching Hannah Montana as a kid and thinking that he looked like an adult. Teenagers typically don’t have visible nasolabial folds like he already had back then.
