Before concluding her stay in San Javier (Murcia), Her Royal Highness the Princess of Asturias took a training flight as part of her military training at the General Academy of Air and Space, alongside His Majesty the King. Upon completing her military career, the Princess of Asturias will pursue a bachelor’s degree in Political Science at Carlos III University in Madrid. This degree program, which is offered on the Getafe campus, includes, among others, courses related to political science, the humanities, law, economics, sociology, history, and international relations. Princess Leonor will balance this period of her higher education with her institutional commitments as heir to the Crown, just as she has done during her high school years and her three years at the military academies. In July 2027, Princess Leonor will receive her royal commissions as a second lieutenant in the Army and the Air and Space Force, as well as a midshipman in the Navy, participating in the corresponding commissioning ceremonies in Zaragoza, Marín, and San Javier as part of her respective graduating classes.
