Olivia Rodrigo when asked about what the fake job meant in ‘expectations’: ‘The guys I’ve met in LA and New York who have rich parents, who are like producers, DJs, creative directors and I’m like I think you work one day a week.’

Why are we platforming interviews with outspoken racists and misogynists?

Choosing to go on Fantano’s platform is insaaaaaane. Whoever on her PR thought this was a good look… 😬

    3. I mean, even on a smaller scale – ie, not big time New York or LA people – art has pushed out people who don’t come from money. I know so many people who describe themselves as “artists” or “creatives” and their lifestyle is funded by their parents. It’s a shame that being creative has become harder to do without money behind you. And it’s a shame people who do have this kind of backing don’t seem to have much self-awareness. You see adults who have their parents paying their rent, their food bill, their phone bill, even their spotify bill, while they describe themselves as “artists” while they make what is, essentially, crap.

Mind you the man she’s sitting down with said Halsey had “main character syndrome” for writing about her cancer, and recently liked a tweet claiming Olivia put Sabrina Carpenter on the map, essentially discrediting Sabrina’s success. Very weird of Olivia to go on his channel and publicly say she’s a big fan of him.

Olivia girl, did you not get the memo? 📋 Fanatano is a racist, he’s used the N word and F word and had to apologize for both, which he did to avoid cancelation. He’s had very off-putting reviews of Halsey, Fiona, Lana, etc that drop of bro energy that doesn’t like certain women or he just can’t grasp what they’re trying to do with their art.

How do you go from NY Times to this dude who doesn’t know technically that much about music theory and literally analysis, and rage baits half the time for engagement?
