Pride & Prejudice (2005) is a classic romantic period drama directed by Joe Wright, adapted from Jane Austen’s world-famous novel. Set in the British countryside of the early 19th century, the film centers on the witty, independent Elizabeth Bennet and the reserved nobleman Mr. Darcy. At first, Elizabeth dislikes Darcy for his cold arrogance, while Darcy looks down on the Bennet family’s social status due to ingrained prejudice. As misunderstandings gradually clear up, the two witness each other’s kindness, integrity and inner tenderness through various experiences. They cast aside arrogance and bias, grow closer emotionally, and finally embrace sincere love. Boasting exquisite costumes, poetic scenery and beautiful soundtrack, the movie perfectly restores the style of the era. With vivid performances by Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen, it has become a timeless romance classic loved by audiences worldwide.

Donald Sutherland is one of my favorite actors. He has so much charisma.
Обожаю их .
Mr Bennet great father!❤
And then the scene when he realizes she’s in love with Darcy and he’s just admiring how she speaks of him❤
If her mother never spoke to her again, it would be a most blessed silence 😆
Such depth to his roles. Or a sly smile when he talks to Mrs. Bennett😊
Imagine the countless women who actually married men to save their family.
"I shall never speak to you again!" If only
DONALD SUTHERLAND ..
A KEGEND, G8 ACTOR ❤❤❤
I had no idea on earth Donald Sutherland could perform that role that way, that accent, that bearing, or anything like it.
I really don’t like Mrs. Bennett, but the truth of the matter is without a son and heir marriage to one of the sisters would’ve been the best solution. The problem is she picked the wrong sister. In different circumstances, Jane probably would’ve acquiesced due to her sweet and loyal personality. I think maybe even kitty might’ve accepted him. Of course Mary was already in love with him so she would’ve said yes. Now Lydia is tricky. I think she would’ve ultimately refused, but if she realized could’ve used the situation to forever, hold it over her sisters heads she might’ve said yes.
So essentially Ms. Bennett had other choices. She just chose the wrong sister.
When you grow up, you realize that mom isn't a monster and papa doesn't give a damn about his five daughters as long as the family leave him alone.
Mr. Bennet sometimes gives the impression of not being a fully engaged father. I think he was simply a normal, imperfect person, an introvert who reacted well to his two oldest daughters—sensible girls with whom he could relate—while reacting not quite as well to the other three daughters with whom he had little in common. His shallow, constantly agitated wife wasn’t an easy cross to bear as well. Mr. Bennet found refuge mainly in his study with his books and also in the company of Jane and Lizzie. Donald Sutherland was excellent as Mr. Bennet.
I sympathise with Mrs Bennet
Love love love ❤❤❤❤
IF THAT IS HER MOTHER,
AND THAT IS HER FATHER,
WHY IS THE MOTHER CALLING THE FATHER "MISTER BENNETT"??
