This movie is all well made and so wholesome it makes me cry about the dedication. It's peak cinema and it has one of the most fascinating stories from conception, to executives seating in meetings about Bugs Bunny and Mickey, Daffy and Donald, the genius that is Richard Williams, ,queen Jessica, Bob Hoskins giving one of the greatest performances of all time, the message, Roger being the most perfect little thing, the Bumping the lamp scene.
Everything about this movie is absolute perfection.
Please watch it, if you haven't and rewatch it if you have

Movie’s so good the author of the book the film is based on rewrote the book to be more like the film
Is this really a “great cinematic achievement” or were you ten when you first saw it? Let’s be real.
Unfortunately it was censored from the DVD releases on….
I always feel bad for the little guy who gets put in the dip.
I still shout “outta my way, pencil neck!” when driving.
I say “we’re gonna RAM EM” minimum at least once a week. Jessica Rabbit was my first crush.
I LOVE this movie
Wow we just watched this last night! My partner hadn’t seen it since he was a kid and watching it as an adult as both said it’s still one of the most beautifully created movies. The perfect combo on animation and live action. The deactivate noir. The humor! I love this movie
Zemeckis really had a gift. Not a lot of directors could get great performances while breaking boundaries with effects work, and I’d argue that this film and Forrest Gump are his best two examples.
Always surprised tat this hasn’t been remade. Hollywood seems to thrive on regenerating content. I am guessing it is tied up in film rights etc.
A 10/10 movie tbh. Judge Doom’s eyes bulging out of his head will never not terrify me.
One of the best movies
As bad CGI and AI slop continue to infect the industry, this movie just continues to age like a fine wine. I just showed my wife the piano scene with Donald and Daffy. Once just all the way through and then the behind the scenes of how they did it. And it’s a movie that at almost 40 years old, looks better than stuff made like 10 years ago.
It is a legitimate masterpiece.
First movie I saw in a theater
Really glad Eddie Murphy turned this down. Hoskins was perfect.
I love this movie.
I LOVE this movie and the special effects really hold up to this day. I watch it at least once a year.
Even though the shoe getting put in the dip makes me so incredibly sad.
Saw it in theatre. I was 7. So fun . A classic
Here’s a cut out scene. I’m still devastated.
Sincerely

Timeless.
One of my favorite movies of all time. Bob Hoskins kills it as Eddie, Christopher Lloyd is horrifying as Judge Doom, and the animated cast is flawless. 10/10 no notes.
I adore this film. When i started doing movie night with my children (once a week, a movie chose by parents, since the youngest is almost 6 years old), this was one of my firat choices. And I think enjoyed it even more as an adult. Flawless, a masterpiece.
