    Tyra Banks Joins Project Runway as a Judge Amid ‘ANTM’ Netflix Lawsuit

    Tyra Banks is stepping into a new judging role on ‘Project Runway’ season 22, alongside fellow judges Heidi Klum, Law Roach and Nina Garcia. The announcement comes just five days after Banks filed a defamation lawsuit against Netflix, alleging its recent documentary on ‘America’s Next Top Model’ used selective editing and omissions that she says created a false narrative. Banks’ season of Project Runway premieres July 9 on Freeform.

      Why would she be invited as a judge after the ANTM show? As someone who used to watch the modeling shore, yes, she was rude and didn’t respect boundaries, invited judges who were derogatory to certain models. Not cool!!!

      Madam is so fake that she's joining the tv show of an old pal of hers to give to herself a new fresh better image of her to gain the respect, relevance, popularity in & out of the industry but she doesn't fool me. She spent so many seasons in ANTM, her baby show being over the top, cruel, humiliating, full of herself, petty, careless, hypocrite, and rude that THIS IS WHO SHE IS. This association with Heidi who is, her, different, a better, decent kind of person, will change nothing about my opinion of her.

      Never watching her drama queen antics. “We loved you!! We were rooting for you!, how could you!!’ Then subjecting those girls things for the show and not for their betterment. I truly can’t stand her.

      Can’t wait to see….. y’all act like she renewed herself, all those seasons of the show… it was the network because like she said the audience wanted it. They tuned in and they loved everything about what was going on in those shows except for the girls…. They should have left the show if they didn’t feel like being humiliated on TV… there’s a lot of TV show shows like fair factor and flavor of love that showcase, embarrassing moments of people and we all ate it up… what I will not continue to allow when I see it is the continue hate for Tara Banks who only did a job that the people wanted her to do… not one time was her show on the break of getting canceled because of treatment of classmates…. You can’t take something that was never demonize. in demonize it 20 years later and they make that person pay… it’s not fair should’ve said this when the show was out. You know why they didn’t say it because everybody was eating that shit up so stop with your selective outrage because she’s the topic right now it’s just not fair… in fact, I really want her to reprise that same type of person in these new seasons..

      She's asking her old friend and Victoria's Secret and America's Got Talent coworker to help a sister out because she no longer employable after that Netflix documentary. For those of you who don't know, Heidi Klum also does Germany's Next Top Model, so she and Tyra are kinda linked sisters. Both 1973 babies, Gemini and Sagittarius, who technically get along. Iirc, Heidi don't have a good reputation in GNTM either.

      the funniest part is she knows because it was the exact tactics they used against contestants on ANTM… but the Netflix doc was way more complimentary than the E! one she should be grateful
