      Damn, I thought the biopic with Julia was back on! Hopefully it’ll get properly made someday while she’s still with us.

      Feel sad for Julia Garner more than anything. Wasted 4 years to finally get her potentially the biggest break she ever could’ve gotten, all gone down the drain.

      It didn’t have to be about her whole career. She could’ve picked a decade to dig into. Hell, I’d happily watch a movie about her rise to fame in the 1980s and her support of the lgbtq community during the aids crisis.

      That’s a shame because Madonna seems more likely to show her a the controversial parts of her past which would make for a way more interesting film than that superficial fluff piece Michael.

      Wasn’t it back on again the last I heard?? Also what fuxker didn’t want to greenlight a MADONNA biopic?? I was soo looking forward to seeing Julia Garner in it, she is phenomenal and genuinely looks a lot like younger Madonna

      This was a wise call from a studio. This would very unlikely become an event film. It should be a miniseries on HBO and would have a much better chance of becoming something enough people see.

      I never wanted this movie in the form it was coming, so I’m not upset.

      Let someone write an interesting pitch surrounding a particular angle on/point in M’s life that tells a bigger story about her…and do it justice.

      If it’s just a visual greatest hits of her career it’ll be so boring. We can just watch the real thing on YT.
