      What I’m curious about is how much the objects of her obsession are aware of her. Like, does Connor Storrie know she exists and is writing creepy fantasies about his personal life? How much did timothee know, or fassbender? Do their pr teams discuss her?

      Lil Nas X initially became popular online because of his Nicki Minaj stan account, long before she was as awful as she is now.

      Isn’t it sad, though. If anything, it kind of rewards her sense of self-importance.

      I remember seeing yesterday her long tweet where she complained about being referred to as a “stalker” as if that label was somehow beneath her. But that’s essentially what she is. She’s looked up the addresses of celebrities’ private hotels, stayed near places associated with them in hopes of catching a glimpse, and trying to create encounters.

      All of this attention reinforces her behavior. Whether people are mocking her or praising her, either way, she’s still being talked about and known. The worst thing about our society is how we reward insanity for the sake of entertainment. And because of that, she doesn’t seem to think she’s crossing any boundaries.

      Not really an account, but in the 00s/10s there was Stalker Sarah who got selfies with pretty much every celebrity back in the day.

      the best stan accounts are the ones that are basically just meme accounts but focused typically on one celebrity

      i don’t like the parasocial fan accounts since they’re obviously incredibly toxic to anyone that crosses their path

      I don’t understand how it doesn’t stress her out. I ran a decently popular fanpage for a show when I was in high school and even interacted with lesser known actors and actresses on the show and their families and friends. I stopped it because it got to the point it wasn’t fun anymore.
