Kerry Washington Admits NERVES Taking the Stage for ‘Whoopi Monologues’ (Exclusive)

Kerry Washington and director Whitney White talk to “Extra” about Lincoln Center Theater’s “The Whoopi Monologues,” which is a reimagining of Whoopi Goldberg’s groundbreaking 1984 self-titled solo show. Kerry recalled first seeing the show and how it blew her mind, also sharing that her mom let her quote the show as a kid — even though it includes some profanity! Whitney teased that audiences should expect to see a lot of love on the stage and great characters. “The Whoopi Monologues” runs from July 7 through August 30 at the Lincoln Center Theater.
