I’ve always found both of them incredibly annoying and neither are particularly funny.
Not defending Kathy Griffin but a convicted rapist is not considered “too controversial” lol
why would anyone already famous want to go on Jimmy Fallon’s terrible excuse for a show anyway? count your blessings, Kathy.

Well, he did allow a couple horrific rapists on the show, so his opinion isn’t that good to begin with.
The irony of banning her over a mock killing photoshoot, yet having two known abusers (and more…) on is extra rich.
I’d consider that an honor at this point.

Controversial means people have strong opinions… so it’s not that.

Not really a fan of her, or him really. Neither are very funny. I feel bad though, if she did that today she probably wouldn’t get canceled as opinions on respecting the president have dramatically changed.
I doubt Kathy Griffin would have a project that would get her booked on the Tonight Show but I wouldn’t be surprised if she is banned anyway. The Tonight Show’s primary goal now is not upsetting Trump and Griffin posed with that faked severed Trump head, which Trumpworld has neither forgotten or forgiven.

She’s probably just not on the show because she sucks and isn’t funny, which is why she probably started doing controversial things for attention.

Fallon sucks, but this woman has no talent and hasn’t done anything of relevance since Seinfeld. Why would they have her on?

Griffin is neither controversial nor relevant, anyone who claims otherwise is feigning.
I’d take it as a compliment. The people Fallon interviews are the human equivalent of mall music.
Sometimes careers end. Maybe she was at the end of the road. She got shafted during the first trump run for sure. But it’s not like her career was booming.
Comedians need to be funny in order to get jobs, Kathy.
