I hate a lot about the live action but I will defend this one. The joke landed with Zuko shouting out “I never said that” then right back to tension. It was the lead up to this scene that failed. Azula in live was chasing Zuko not Aang and Zuko happened upon Aang it felt shoved in just to get the group shot.
Bro even the monitors in the lunchroom and at study hall dont do anything, they leave when shit does happen to get someone qualified to handle the shit. Public schools are dumps.
That was a very weak first take and lacked any real character …. sounded like any person on earth could have delivered that performance, zero schooling required
I feel like the live action has some great actors and some horrible writing. I appreciate that they show more badass katara this season but it just felt weird and out of order. I understand you can’t do everything but skipping the library is so stupid!!
Completely lost the tone of the show. It's the end of a long drawn out chase, Aang is tired as hell, it's beautifully shot like a classic western standoff, and Azula is this force of nature speaking like a psycho making a joke at her brothers expense.
