But I look at a movie like ‘F1’ and I’m like, ‘F1’ was made by AI,” she said with a laugh at the Colorado event. “Wasn’t it? I mean, the structure was exactly the structure that you would learn in school. The actors say the lines exactly the way it would be written if a computer was writing exactly what would be the right thing for that time. And they were able to dominate the technology to make something big and beautiful and potentially where a lot of the information comes from other places.”

F1 is very well made but definitely feels like ‘Movie: The Movie’ for pretty much the whole runtime

That Netflix movie War Machine with the Reacher actor gave me this same exact impression

Have certainly felt that way from many movies in the last year or so…That was not one of them.

Even though i think it was shot well, and i enjoyed the f1 racing theme, i don’t get the hype. It felt very…. sterile, she’s right.

We used to have a word for this called “formulaic” which was a thing before computers and AI

So it looks like she will never star in any movie by F1 director Joseph Kosinsky anytime soon.

Not a fan of racing movies but I do know the race scenes in this movie were all genuine F1 races and the actors scenes were also real using modified F2 cars, definitely not AI🤷♀️

I liked this movie because I have a sim racing rig so racing movies are fun for me. That said, at some point I was definitely watching for the entertainment of the races themselves, but the story itself had already started to bore me. If I wasn’t into racing, I think I would have quit part way through.

The whole thing was basically just a commercial for F1, so I’m not surprised it felt like it was pooped out by a corporate marketing team

I mean you could honestly say the same for Maverick and Oblivion, and I say that as a huge Maverick fan

I agree, I bailed on it.

It absolutely wasn’t, they spent years putting cameras on cars during an actual race.

Agree. It had no business being on the best picture nomination list.

Sucked, no matter what. Definitely wasn’t because Apple wasn’t pushing it hard enough.

That final speech by Pitt was pretty cringe to me. Way too drawn out and the way it was portrayed seemed just too hokey and glorified that brought me out of the moment.

That movie was insanely boring and predictable. The old washed up renegade changes his ways to prove to the younger bright-eyed hopeful that racing is their true love. Coolest thing about the movie is the actors playing make believe got paid to drive F1 cars. Good for them, terrible for the audience.

It was laughably a collection of competition movie tropes that never once allowed me to believe they were actual human characters in the film.

Jodie. You’re entire True Detective experience felt like AI to me. Horribly written and the dialogue was such a bore.

I don’t if I would say the scripts are written by AI but it would not surprise me if we found out writers hired to churn these out at a fast pace rely heavily on AI to help them write them.
