The scream queens have been setting the standard for thematic dressing this year.
Barbie Ferreira gave us blood-splattered PVC heels for the Faces of Death screening, Celeste O’Connor embraced gore couture in Rahul Mishra for the Scream 7 premiere, and Anna Camp captured the spirit of the franchise in a McQueen dress embroidered with anatomical motifs.
Luciane continued that streak in a striking red-and-white skirt suit by Saaku, designed by Maryam Yazdanpanah and presented during the 2025 Parsons MFA Fashion Runway Showcase.
On the runway, the abstract crimson print read as an artistic graphic. In the context of Evil Dead Burn, however, it took on an entirely different meaning. The streaks resembled fresh cuts, blood splatter or even blood dispersing through water, making the look feel unexpectedly perfect for a horror premiere.
It’s the kind of fashion choice that lets your imagination do the work, with the print conjuring different horror scenarios depending on how you look at it.
Luciane styled the look with trending white pumps, while her makeup artist leaned into the equally popular transition blush trend. The diffused wash of pink across her eyes and cheeks echoed the red tones of the outfit, giving the beauty look a cinematic intensity without overpowering the clothes.
I’m also glad she skipped the runway’s matching printed tights and boots. Keeping the accessories simple allowed the print to remain the focal point, making the overall look feel cleaner and more effective for the red carpet.
