Casualty spoilers follow.

    After a short break, Casualty is back on our screens next Saturday (11 July). Dylan struggles after his heartbreaking relapse and Matty is keen to support his dad. Meanwhile, Faith returns to work after giving birth to Pearl, and Rida hides her problems from Jodie.

    Here is our round-up of all the biggest moments coming up next week, in the latest episode of the current boxset ‘Lethal Legacy’.

    1. Matty reaches out to Dylanmatty, dylan, casualty

    Dylan wakes up hungover on the toilet floor after relapsing the previous evening at his big event. He heads to work and is confronted by Matty, who watched him take his first drink. Matty feels betrayed and wants answers, but Dylan assures him that what happened was just a one off.

    Later in resus, Dylan experiences debilitating flashbacks from his night of drinking and rushes out. Matty finds his dad and offers his support, but will struggling Dylan accept his help?

    2. Faith returns to workfaith cadogan, casualty

    After deciding to return to work earlier than planned, Faith gets ready for her first shift at the ED – but when she avoids feeding baby Pearl before she leaves, Iain is left concerned. Faith throws herself back into work and steps up to the plate by offering to take the lead on a complex procedure when Flynn is unavailable. But has Faith done too much, too soon?

    3. Rida hides her strugglesrida amaan, casualty episode 8

    Laura tells Jodie she is scared about speaking at the upcoming council meeting, but says she’ll be there for support. But Jodie is blindsided when Iain says they need someone more serious to speak on their behalf at the meeting. Jodie is hurt by this and is supported by Rida – but will she realise that Rida has been having problems herself?

    4. Rash is nervousrash masum, casualty episode 6

    Rash admits he’s feeling nervous about his CESR presentation, one of the final steps towards becoming a consultant. Jessica returns to the ED with baby Arthur, and things are tense after Rash recently turned down her coffee invitation. Rida defends Rash to Jessica, but will this help Rash on an already stressful day?

    5. Flynn takes actionflynn byron, casualty

    Flynn recently agreed to sign Rory’s medical discharge papers after the death of his colleague in hospital. But he decided not to give up the fight, calling the Army to make a statement about Bard. Next week, he officially makes a statement to the military about his concerns. Will this be enough to bring down Bard?

    6. Jan makes a confessionjan jennings, casualty episode 3

    Viewers have seen Jan begin to develop feelings for Siobhan, feelings which have only intensified by Siobhan coming to stay with her while she doesn’t feel safe in her home. Jan is struggling with these potentially unrequited feelings, and next week she tells a colleague about the situation. Will she get some much-needed advice?

    Casualty airs on Saturday nights on BBC One and now streams first on BBC iPlayer, where episodes are released at 6am on the day of transmission.
