Taylor owns homes in Rhode Island, New York, and Tennessee, while Travis has a house in Kansas and plays NFL football in Missouri.
A source for TMZ confirmed that the prenup wasn’t drafted in California. Where Taylor and Travis sign their prenup also changes the terms, as the couple is likely looking for a state that strongly enforces prenuptial agreements, protects separate property, protects business and IP appreciation, gives courts less freedom to rewrite the agreement, and doesn’t give out long-term spousal support.

She also speculated that Taylor likely included terms to limit and clarify what constitutes as community or marital property to “avoid future claims to their creative.” “Particularly when it comes to sequels and prior projects,” she said. “For example, if Taylor had re-recorded one of her albums during marriage, there would be an argument that the re-record was partially a marital asset.”
She continued. “Similarly, they may include terms requiring mediation or, in states where permitted, the use of a private judge for any dissolution proceedings. For a high-profile couple like Swift and Kelce, privacy provisions of this nature would be particularly valuable in shielding the details of any potential dispute from public scrutiny.”
