Princess Catherine has unveiled heartwarming photographs showing her being embraced by her family at the base of Mount Snowdon after completing the Three Peaks Challenge.
In an unexpected display of stamina, Catherine undertook the demanding Three Peaks Challenge over the weekend to generate funds for a cancer charity and “explore life beyond diagnosis”.
The future queen conquered the tallest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales – Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon – within 24 hours, commencing Saturday evening.
Images capturing Catherine’s reunion with the Prince of Wales and their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, along with her parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, and brother James Middleton, have now been published on the Waleses’ social media platforms.
One photograph captures Catherine embracing her husband, while another shows her arms wrapped around Charlotte. Additional images depict her with her arm around George, clasping hands with Louis and conversing with her relatives.

The concluding photograph presents the Princess of Wales surrounded by her family, including her parents, brother, and his dog.
The post states: “This time last week, completing the National Three Peaks Challenge. A huge thank you to everybody who has supported The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.”
Catherine completed the Three Peaks challenge independently, with Mountain Rescue providing support throughout.

Kensington Palace indicated this accomplishment was believed to be a royal milestone, with the princess becoming the first Royal Family member to complete the Three Peaks challenge.
During the challenge, the princess encountered an 11-year-old wheelchair user named Ted, and later made a personal donation in his honor.
The chance meeting occurred on the slopes of Ben Nevis, where Ted was tackling the same challenge with the support of his loved ones, all in aid of Molly Olly’s Wishes – a charity dedicated to helping children battling serious illnesses.
By Monday, Catherine had made her contribution to Ted’s Just Giving page, accompanying it with a heartfelt message: “One of the real highlights of the Three Peaks Challenge was meeting inspiring people like you along the way.”
She added: “Huge congratulations to Ted, Pete and the entire team for raising money for such a wonderful cause.”
