I got to go to the White House when I was thirteen. I went with a school friend, her parents, and sisters. They owned a large egg farm in Michigan. They were the largest private chicken farm and egg packing plant in the state at the time. We got a nice tour, then went sightseeing while her dad was in a meeting with the Secretary of Agriculture and some others in Congress and the Cabinet. He got to meet the President for a couple of minutes with other private farmers from around the country.
My last driver's license pic is the most mugshot-like that I've ever had. The gal said, "Is that ok?" I said, "It's fine; I just turned 65, and I'm pretty sure Dear Hubby is keeping me no matter what."
