Taylor Swift and the Swift family are aiming for American LEGACY as she's mentioned before. They don't have the pedigree of a Kennedy so they aim for star power en mass. The MAGA adjacent Swift family invited 1,000 connected and powerful guests as a STRATEGIC POWER MOVE to ensure those guests continue to support her and her family into perpetuity. You don't invite Steven Spielberg, the head of Disney, Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, countless pro-Zionists, Mainstream media talk show hosts and journalists just for fun! Many of those people have influence in foreign governments. It's all business and a narcissistic power grab for the Swift family brand.
Yes thank you for the comprehensive understanding for people who don’t live in NY, to understand exactly why this was so so so selfish. It goes beyond even- during a summer month, heatwaves are a thing, and our grid is fragile- like, blackouts have happened and are very possible- and they’re dangerous and expensive. The amount of of energy one venue like MSG can use is insane. And don’t get me started on the charity donations and tax breaks, and how little 26 million affects her life (it’s like 1.5 percent of her net worth). Really bad move, Taylor. Our goodwill and patience for your antics is pretty much done.

I don't think they actually got legally married. I give it less 5 years before she puts out a sob story album and world tour and he goes on Dancing with the Stars, then she "retires" to do a metric ton of song writing until she's too old to rhyme. 😅 The whole "relationship" is an exhausting farce.

Agree with everything about how selfish and un-self aware it was for her to hold her wedding and shut down a busy travel hub on a major holiday. Spot on. But I don’t believe that after everything that went down between them, that Taylor went to all of this expense to accommodate someone who tried to blackmail her. Blake was not there.

Yeah I live in New York and nobody was excited to have her do this here. It was annoying and on a holiday weekend?? You've got to be kidding me. How seriously selfish to inconvenience millions of people so you can throw a party for 1000 of your closest friends. Come on. Not to mention New Yorkers are struggling to make ends meet and she' felt it appropriate to flaunt money and power in front of us, basically telling us (yet again) that we don't matter and that rich people can do whatever they want no matter how much it affects those "lesser" than them. IMO She used everything from her lyrics is for copyright reasons. She will be releasing her wedding as a film and wants all the $$for her self no royalties for anyone else.
